OVERVIEW
Album design for hardcore/metal band The Final Burden, created to visually reflect the raw intensity and deeply personal themes behind the music.
CONCEPT & PRODUCTION
This project embraced a fully hands-on, DIY approach that mirrored the band’s ethos and emotional investment in the record. The artwork was intentionally crafted to feel raw, tactile, and personal rather than polished or mass-produced.
All packaging elements were screen printed in limited quantities, giving the album a handcrafted quality that aligned with the grit and authenticity of the music.
Each CD was individually stenciled with spray paint, ensuring that no two copies were exactly alike. These subtle variations turned every physical piece into a one-of-a-kind artifact, reinforcing the album’s personal significance to the band and creating a deeper connection between the music and the listener.
The goal was to make the visual and physical experience feel as intimate and expressive as the record itself.
