Absolute Gentlemen is a hip-hop artist and producer known for blending pop-culture samples from movies and video games into a distinctive, genre-crossing sound. His music fuses nostalgia, digital culture, and modern production into a style that feels both playful and experimental.

PROJECT

I was commissioned to develop the album artwork and visual identity for his EP, Lick the Cold Glass.

The title immediately suggested a strong sensory and emotional tone, so the visual approach centered on creating a simple yet iconic cover image that felt memorable and slightly surreal.

The intentional pixelated treatment of the logo and typography was designed to reference the video game influences embedded throughout the music, particularly the nostalgic aesthetic of 64-bit graphics and early digital culture.

The final identity balanced minimal composition with bold color and digital texture, creating a cohesive visual language that matched the artist’s sound and creative personality.
